You may use NovelO without registering or signing in.
If you choose to register, we collect the account name and password you create, an internal account identifier, and your account status. We do not require you to provide an email address when creating an account. Your password is stored using appropriate security measures.

If you use NovelO without registering and signing in, your Bookshelf and reading progress will not be synchronized with an account. This information will be removed if you delete the app. An eligible Apple subscription may still be restored using the Restore Purchases function.

Account information, VIP status, Bookshelf items, and reading progress are generally retained while your account remains active. After account deletion, related information will be deleted or anonymized, except where limited retention is necessary for transaction records, fraud prevention, security, legal reporting, or other legal obligations.

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request. After deletion, you will lose access to the account and its synchronized VIP status, Bookshelf, and reading progress. Account deletion is permanent.
Deleting your NovelO account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately through your Apple Account subscription settings to prevent future charges.
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for transaction records, fraud prevention, security, legal reporting, or compliance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy when NovelO, our information practices, or applicable requirements change. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice where required.
